Scoot Education Hiring for Special Education Teacher – $3,000 Self-Contained Stipend Job at Glendale, AZ Full Time

One of our partner schools has an opening for a special education Teacher in a self-contained classroom. The students are junior high grade level. You will be flanked by 2 Aides to assist with your caseload. You will have the critical support from a compliance perspective at both the district and campus level.

A successful Special Education Teacher will:

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

• Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments

• Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student

• Prepare timely progress reports for each student

• Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports

You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• AZ Department of Education Special Education certification
