SciCore Academy is a K-12 private school with special emphasis in areas of science, mathematics, engineering, and communication arts. Our bright, friendly students make SciCore an enjoyable place to utilize your teaching talents.

This is an academic year position to teach middle school and high school programming and robotics in a private K-12 school. Responsibilities include lectures, assigning homework, grading, setting up robotics equipment, computer hardware maintenance, attendance at faculty meetings and school events and other tasks common to school environments. Class sizes are small. Minimum educational background is a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, programming, physical science, engineering, or finance. Should be a genuine team player, with excellent communication skills and persistent interest in student progress. Very rewarding teaching experience as our students enjoy programming and mathematics and often will be pursuing a math-related field in college. Potential opportunity to supplement income by teaching summer camps. NJ teaching certificate not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $53.00 – $56.00 per hour
