Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate safe, efficient deliveries in compliance with company rules and DOT regulations, including daily driver assignments and vendor delivery scheduling
• Plan and schedule department workloads to achieve 100% complete deliveries
• Resolve delivery and scheduling challenges
• Prepare accurate s for leadership team
• Process all paperwork, bill of ladings, and manifests correctly
• Communicate with logistics teams, purchasing, and vendors / suppliers
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Communicate with leadership regarding the status of current day’s / week’s deliveries and performance
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years experience in transportation, distribution, dispatching, supply chain or related field
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Knowledge of laws, regulatory requirements, and rules (DOT, OSHA)
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Must have strong negotiation skills and experience handling challenging transportation questions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and the ability to learn logistics software (ie. ERP)
• Comfortable learning to operate and use a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds comfortably
• Positive work history
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, strong communication skills, and be detail-oriented
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday, 5am-3pm
• Working between multiple company buildings
