The team

The Human Resources team is responsible for ensuring that Schroders maximises the return on its investment in people. We do this through the development and implementation of policies and practices that attract, reward and retain high quality employees.

What you’ll do

You’ll be a member of the TA team who are responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for trainees, interns, graduates and experienced hires. Along with the team you will focus on the delivery of a high quality recruitment service which recruits talent in a cost effective and timely manner. You’ll support the experienced hire recruitment activity and have a varied workload with a key focus on sourcing, screening and candidate management.

Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for will include:

• Supporting the TA Specialist in recruiting operations (e.g. candidate research, sourcing and screening) and recruitment related activities.
• Assisting with recruitment campaigns, including the drafting of job descriptions, adverts and communications and pushing these out through appropriate sources.
• Generating reports and data insights required by stakeholders – ensuring it provides valuable information for planning and decision making.
• Building great working relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Responding to candidate and stakeholder queries in a timely manner.
• Assisting with co-ordination and execution of recruiting events, including attending events and presentations as and when required.
• Organising and maintaining recruitment calendars and planners.
• Supporting important project work e.g. engagement, inclusion & diversity and mental health initiatives.
• Working collaboratively and supporting the wider HR team (HR Business Partnering Team, L&D and Compensation & Benefits team) during peak periods.
• Handling candidate and employee data efficiently and correctly, ensuring the recruitment & HR systems are always up to date.
• Assisting the with the development and maintenance of recruitment policies and procedures and invoicing.
• Carrying out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the TA and wider HR team.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Excellent administration skills – previous experience in a high-volume administrative role in a fast paced environment.
• Experience of prioritising competing workloads, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy .
• Proactive and professional and take an efficient approach to your workload.
• Flexible and willing to get involved in a variety of tasks and projects.
• Organised and adaptable with a knowledge of systems or ability to pick up new systems i.e. recruitment databases (ATS), excel, outlook.
• Experience which demonstrates good communication and working well within a team environment.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

• Experience in financial services industry would be desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience of working with recruitment portals and ATS tools and technologies.
