Job Description
SchoolMint is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist in our Lafayette, LA office to manage the entire recruiting cycle, starting with job creation, sourcing candidates, interviewing, creating job offers and assisting with onboarding new hires for the entire company. Recruiting techniques include both internal and external sourcing as well as pipeline building to fill open roles across multiple departments within the established time to hire goals.
What You Will Do:
Develop and execute recruiting plans including partnering with hiring managers, creating job descriptions, actively sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and measuring and ing the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
Network with and source candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, university career contacts, trade groups, social media, and employee referrals
Manage company attendance and participation at career fairs
Set up career hosting events at SchoolMint office locations
Set continuous quality recruitment goals aligned to company values and departmental objectives
Under the guidance of the Chief People Officer, Human Resources and the Chief Financial Officer, review and understand the recruitment year over year hiring projections
Establish an ongoing pipeline of candidates to address future new roles and backfills
Manage the hiring process in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse. Must quickly become the subject matter expert on Greenhouse
Make candidate recommendations to hiring managers, providing guidance on which potentials to move to the next level and which to consider for another position and/or end the process
Timely follow-up on the interview process status with candidates and hiring managers
Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process
Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Provide recruiting metrics to Senior Leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Create and manage recruitment diversity, equity and inclusion goals with the DEI Committee
Conduct recruiting and onboarding surveys with candidates and new hires to ensure our processes meet the company’s objectives
Under the guidance of the Senior Director, Global HR Strategy and Projects, continuously provide input on trending salary bands for posted positions
Support the HR and People Operations team with HR Generalist tasks, additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Work in our Lafayette, LA office a minimum of three days per week
About You:
3+ years experience as a full-cycle recruiter. Technical, Sales, and Customer Success recruiting experience desired. International recruiting experience an added plus
Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and make hiring decisions free of bias and preconceived notions
Proven ability to drive and successfully execute full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments within established company metrics
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to speak with all levels of management and all types of candidates
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Self-starter who enjoys networking and connecting with people
