This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning, managing and coordinating the activities in the area of Engineering for our facility in Chattanooga, TN.

About the Company

The Schnellecke Group is an internationally operating family-owned company that offers a variety of logistics services. One of the major focuses of these activities is value-added logistics for the automotive industry.

We develop complete concepts that range from transportation and warehousing to pre-assemblies and value-added services, to sequential production of individual parts and modules, and packaging suitable for containers.

Furthermore, we produce individual car body parts and car body modules for vehicle manufacturing under the KWD Automotive umbrella brand.

Responsibilities

• Safety First
• Implementing and forcing the organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, organizational standards, over all areas of their responsibility, to achieve the vision of the company.
• Search, develop and implement process and layout improvements
• Support with the implementation of new processes and / or projects
• Creation and update layouts, work instructions, visualization and other process-related documentation
• Perform time-studies analysis on the shop floor
• Implement emergency procedures when required
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 5 years experience
• Analytical Thinker
• Exceptional computer and data entry skills (MS Outlook, Excel, etc.)
