Schneider Electric Hiring for Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Global Talent Acquisition Job at Australia Full Time

In this role, you will apply critical expertise to the development of a global strategic sourcing approach for the organizations most in demand talent needs. You will display expertise in talent acquisition and assist with sourcing process development, documentation, and implementation, as well as vendor selection and management. You will establish trust and build strong relationships with leaders and colleagues around the globe and demonstrate your ability to work in a highly matrixed organization while driving for results and excellence. You will serve as a key contributor to the future talent delivery for Schneider Electric.

• You will serve as an expert for strategic sourcing within the broader community and will act as a consultant/advisor to peers in Talent Acquisition on sourcing strategies while assisting in the achievement of hiring goals for critical talent needs.
• You will be responsible for developing the sourcing practices and expertise across the organization, including the development of best practices and a toolkit for other sourcers with the goal of elevating the function.
• You will leverage data to inform the organization on talent but also as the foundation for your sourcing and outreach strategies.
• You will apply your highly specialized sourcing skills to uncover talent, capture their attention through creative outreach and build/maintain a relationship with that talent until timing and opportunity aligns to eventually convert them to a hire.
• You will identify outreach and networking opportunities where you can build Schneider Electric’s brand with targeted talent and then partner with your Employer Branding counterpart to align on an execution plan.
• You will lead and contribute to regular calibration calls with recruiters and stakeholders to maintain alignment on current and future talent needs.

(External) English Qualifications:

• You have sat in the seat of a recruiter for 7+ years and have highly developed sourcing skills with a deep understanding of sourcing processes, best practices, workflows, and measurements.
• You are comfortable working in a demanding environment where the pace of progress might not move at the same pace with the level of urgency. When you encounter a roadblock, you keep focused and push through while displaying an openness to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving function.
• You are a strong collaborator that can engage and influence partners across an organization. You can work with a high level of autonomy and understand when escalation is appropriate, and you are comfortable doing so.
• You have 5+ years working on TA projects and have developed strong organization and critical thinking skills. You can assess a problem, lay out a strategy, and see it through.
• You have recent experience and current knowledge of Talent Acquisition tools (sourcing, video, interview scheduling, assessments, learning tools, etc.) and you take a digital first approach to your craft.
• You have a strong customer orientation and superb communication skills with the ability to adjust your message and delivery based on the audience. You leverage your social skills to engage with others, expand your network and build alliances. Navigating in a global, matrix environment is second nature to you.
