Schneider Electric Hiring for Integration (Electronic and Mechanical) Engineering – Experienced Professional at Mississauga, ON Full Time

This position is accountable for performing specific engineering tasks related to electrical/mechanical applications, field installations, equipment modernization, providing local, regional, and national business support through conceptual and detailed design of products, systems or solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to manage assigned projects.
• Customer technical specification analysis and review.
• Establish electrical bill of material.
• Support manufacturing and quality control with related documentation.
• Participate in various meetings.
• Review, verify and comment the electrical and mechanical design for assigned projects.
• Time management to meet projects deliverables (approval drawings, shop packages, etc..)
• Project follow-up, technical support, after sales support of assigned projects.
• Support of internal and external customers.

(External) English Qualifications:
What’s in it for me?

Electrical engineering degree (Registered with the PEO as Professional Engineer).

7-15 yrs of related experience in the field of power distribution (LV & MV).

Proficient with control circuits, interlocking schemes, protection principles and relays, automatic transfer schemes, and utility metering

Knowledge of Canadian electrical codes, IEEE/ANSI, UL and CSA LV and MV equipment related standards.

Experienced with LV and MV SWGR applications.

Proficient with various communication networks; Knowledge of Serial (Modbus, etc) and Ethernet communications

Experience working with field sales, inside sales, quotations, and consulting engineers

Experience working in a field and manufacturing environment

Proficient with AutoCad Electrical, MS Office.

Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.

Working knowledge of N299 standard is an asset.
