Schneider Electric Digital Grid has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated

individual to assume the role of Head of Business Development New Energy APAC.
The essential responsibility of the role is the creation of new opportunities with customers

linking the SE Digital Grid solutions to support the energy transition. These opportunities

can range from traditional software solutions for VPPs, Customer Engagement, Demand

Management through to new portfolio solutions and partnerships.
You will work strategically with the existing Sales Heads across APAC and the Digital Grid

Regional director, to work with our customers, partners and other areas to ensure our suite

of software and solutions are designed, developed and communicated in an optimal manner

to deliver the right customer outcome with the most effective SE solution.
Your passion will be enabling the energy transition through creating opportunities and

enabling greater flexibility and

Responsibilities
  • Leading the new energy suite of products in APAC in to Retail, Distribution, and large customers
  • Creating strong relationships and projects with customers and partners in the region
  • Promoting the New Energy landscape and representing SE
  • Guiding the technical sales or solution architects
  • Work with Sales Heads to define the best approach to existing and new customers in regions
  • Ensuring solutions and products meet customer business requirements using one or more Schneider offerings
  • Guide the Senior Solution Architect on major projects and complex new Grid Edge offerings
  • Lead project requirements gathering workshops and develop resulting documentation
  • Lead the design and documentation of proposed customer solutions based on defined requirements
  • Work directly with other groups within the SE Digital Grid, and other areas of SE to develop and validate proposed solutions and designs
  • Develop customer presentations
  • Develop customer proposals inclusive of strategic intent, market analysis and solution design
  • Develop strong expertise in Electricity Companies knowledge across markets and industry value chain
  • Develop knowledge of relevant regulatory and market constructs as they may be relevant to solution design and customer benefits

(External) English Qualifications:


Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business, Computer Science, engineering (or related field with computer emphasis),
  • Deep knowledge of the energy sector and new energy landscape
  • 10+ years in relevant roles within the energy sector Retail, Startup, Distribution or Consulting
  • Passion for sustainability and new business creation
  • Experience in solutions such as Demand Management, Customer Engagement, VPP and similar
  • Experience working with electric, gas, water or wastewater utility companies is desirable
  • Experience with consulting or energy startup / new energy group is desirable
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required
