Talent Acquisition & Hiring Specialist

We are GROWING! We are looking for a upbeat, friendly person to join our HR team!

We are a local Minnesota transportation company. We are proud to be employee-owned and we are looking to welcome a Talent Acquisition & Hiring Specialist to our HR department. We are a diversified company that consists of over 600 employees, six operating locations, and experience in the passenger transportation business since 1952.

Job Responsibilities

• Recruiting and staffing
• Screen applications and selects qualified candidates (including pulling background and driving record checks, phone interviews)
• Scheduling interviews with the hiring team
• Interviewing candidates
• Help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Work includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization’s marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market.
• Company-employee and company-customer communication
• Attends and participates in local and college job fairs
• Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communiciation skills (friendly, easy to talk to, warm and welcoming)

Other Requirements

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Read, write, and speak in English
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
