Schmitty & Sons is looking for an upbeat, friendly person to join our Student Transportation Team in Lake Elmo for the Stillwater School District! We are proud to be an employee-owned, local, diversified company with experience in passenger transportation since 1952.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with team to ensure operations run effectively
• Ensure proper documentation of accidents, incidents, and vehicle service calls
• Assist with school bus dispatching, GPS monitoring, parent/student calls and other operational procedures
• Responsible for driver check-ins and closing base procedures
• Monitor radio and communicate messaging to employees
• Frontline communications specialist for in-bound phone and email inquiries
• Assist with entering trip requests, trip quality assurance, and customer quotes
• Compile driver trip sheets and route packets for drivers

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Read, write, and speak in English
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License
• Detail-oriented person with a can-do attitude!
