LOGISTICS COORDINATOR 3, 4 WORK SCHEDULE
DB Schenker has an opening for a Logistics Coordinator in their Albany NY Location. Minimum 3 Days off Each week.
Earn Up to $22.50 Per Hour
Starting PAY IS $20.00 PER HOUR
$1.50 Per Hour Shift Differential
$1.00 Per Hour DOT Certified
Work Schedule:
3 12 Hour Shifts 1 week
4 12 Hour Shifts the next week

Responsibilities Text

Position Description Summary: Responsible for shipment scheduling, dispatching, planning, tracking, and tracing. Coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes, rate analysis, monitor carrier quality standards, and provide customer service.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):

  • Create scheduling and shipment planning
  • Interface with Transportation organization and analysts
  • Prepare rate proposals for customers
  • Determine most appropriate carriers based on company policy
  • Ascertain delivery requirements based on company policy
    The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    Job Requirements:
    Good interpersonal skills required.
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Generally prefer 3-6 years of experience
