Schaefer’s Hiring for Accounting Assistant Job at Lincoln, NE Full Time

We are currently looking to fill the position of Accounting Assistant.

Duties Include :

• Payroll (experience with ADP a plus!)
• Inventory Payables
• Purchase Order Entry
• Daily Processing (cash drawers, deposit, sales tickets and journal entries)
• Cash Receipts, Billing, A/R Accounts
• Accounts Payable
• Understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet and Income Statement

Requirements: Strong understanding of bookkeeping (i.e payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control). Fluent in Excel.

We are a drug free workplace. We do require a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Hours : Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
