Scepter Inc. is looking to hire a Plant Engineer.

Requirements for the position include an engineering degree and a desire to work in a heavy manufacturing industry. Process improvement work experience, high mechanical aptitude, an advanced degree and a working knowledge of MS Access are pluses. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the aluminum recycling business and begin a long term career with growth opportunities. Initial assignments will be very diversified from doing process work to capital improvement projects to directing and managing plant floor associates. Primary responsibilities of the position include:

· Profitable operation of plant processes by maintaining and improving productivity

· Improvement of plant activities in the areas of safety and recovery

· Management of plant personnel and equipment

· Environmental compliance of the facility

· Maintaining ISO compliance and customer service requirements

· Technology improvements

· Best practice implementation and 5S
