POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist owns the Recruiting and Talent Acquisition process within the People department, under the guidance of the Chief People Officer.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES

• Full-cycle Recruiting:
  • Using proven recruiting, marketing, and communication skills, successfully recruit candidates with the right talent for open roles.
  • Fully utilize systems, job boards, and other resources to post job openings and find candidates.
  • Identify hard-to-fill positions and develop strategies with the Hiring Manager / CPO and execute the strategies to bring in candidates for these roles.
  • Source and Screen candidates.
  • Through consistent and responsive communication, develop a positive experience for candidates, vendors, employees, and other contacts.
  • Track and follow up on requisitions and Hiring Managers until candidate is hired.
• Define Roles:
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to fully define positions and customize recruiting solutions.
  • Evaluate the needs and duties of roles to determine pay grades, FLSA status, and eligibility for company programs.
  • Professionally draft postings appropriate to stated roles.
• Collaborates with Hiring Managers and others in the People Department to successfully define roles, recruit candidates, communicate with stakeholders, track requisition, and complete pre-employment processes for hire.
• Follows processes to hire selected candidates.
  • Solicit, receive, and file all new hire paperwork.
  • Create Employee Personnel Files.
  • Review background and other screening pre-employment s.
  • Tracks and s on Recruiting, Hiring and other related activities.
  • May prepare for and conduct employee onboarding.
• Fully optimize and maintain ATS and other related systems as an Administrator.
  • Ensure data validity within ATS and other related systems.
• Continuously improving the processes and working within the systems that optimize the recruiting, talent acquisition, and onboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with Talent Acquisition & Employment regulations, including OFCCP, FLSA, and EEO.
• Other duties as assigned within People department.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 4 years minimum experience as an HR professional
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated, successful experience in job evaluation and developing job descriptions and postings
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated, successful experience in ATS and recruiting
• Demonstrated experience critically reviewing and developing all areas of the job description and posting, including classifying pay grades and FLSA status.
• Demonstrated experience accurately processing detailed information
• Knowledge and Demonstrated experience in complying with Employment and Talent Acquisition laws, including OFCCP, FLSA, FCRA, and EEO.
• Proven Proficiency using MS Office applications; ATS, and HRIS systems
• Must be able to use search functions to source candidates with boards such as LinkedIn, Ziprecruiter, and Indeed
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Able to successfully follow internal processes, but also critically think to improve processes or question each step
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
• Ability to show urgency and flexibility in completing tasks when needed by Hiring Managers and Candidates
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish objectives in a timely manner
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with all employee levels
• Proven success in talent acquisition

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience recruiting for technical positions
• Experience developing, customizing, and executing marketing strategies
• General knowledge of People policies and procedures
• ADP experience preferred
• JazzHR experience preferred
