Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with bank reconciliations when required
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Cost centre analysis and reporting, working closely with the Finance Manager and liaising with department leads
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting, including deep diving into specific areas of the business to drive further efficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Support Accounts Payable team when required
• Assist Finance Manager with month end and year end processes
• Assist Finance Manager with cash flow forecasting
• Assist Finance Manager with the annual audit process
• Work with the Finance Manager to ensure the company is complying with financial policies and regulations

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years general accounting experience
• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or accounting
• Studying to complete additional certificate (CA, CPA, CMA preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build relationships with people
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Experience in AP21 software is desired
• Advanced MS Excel skills (including ‘VLOOKUP’, pivot tables and ‘sumif’ functions)
