THE MISSION
Justin, our Engineering Manager, is looking for 2 x Graduate Software Engineers to join our Wollongong based engineering team to support the market demand for our product offering across Europe.
About the Role
A Graduate Software Engineering career at Scalapay will give you the foundation to become a Master of Your Craft learning best practice software design principals ensuring you develop into a standout software engineer.
As you progress within your role you will be given the autonomy to create innovative BNPL products, that are simplistic yet scalable to meet the needs of our customers and clients.
Our team are collaborators working within an Agile environment where we encourage and empower you to take end-to-end ownership of your projects.
Your contribution will be key to the success of the entire engineering team and organisation.
Responsibilities
  • Write clean, well-designed RESTful APIs that integrate e-commerce platforms and client applications with our core
platform.
  • Help to innovate and solve interesting problems.
  • Contribute to the development of BNPL products.
  • Troubleshoot, test and automate to ensure high quality and optimisation.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Passion for best practice software design and coding practices.
  • Ideally a knowledge of React, Javascript, Node.js, relational databases, CI/CD tooling.
