Systems Administrator

SB Specialty Metals LLC a steel distribution company with multiple locations that operate out of 6 states and is looking to hire a Systems Administrator to assist the IT Director in managing a medium-sized network covering five warehouse locations across the country and the day-to-day IT needs of the organization. We are looking for an individual who brings experience and new ideas that will enhance the IT department operations.

Candidate Requirements:

– MUST BE LOCATED IN DAYTON, OH AREA

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an IT Specialist with Windows server exposure. Education and certifications a plus.
• Strong Knowledge and experience with desktop and end user support.
• Experience with TeamViewer Remote Support Software or equivalent.
• Experience with Setup, Installation and Troubleshooting Windows PC Desktops and Laptops.
• Experience with Setup, Installation and Troubleshooting HP LaserJet and Zebra Label Printers.
• Working Knowledge of Windows Server (2019,2016,2012).
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Management, IIS, DNS, WSUS, Print Server Management.
• Experience maintaining Microsoft 365 (O365) and Exchange.
• Experience with corporate antivirus/antispam solutions.
• Experience Managing Networks – LAN, WAN and Wireless with exposure to TCP/IP, Switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of Firewalls (SonicWall a plus).
• Experience with AWS Windows Server management, VPC & VPN a plus.
• Knowledge or exposure to Cloud Based VoIP phone systems a plus.
• Experience working with and managing Android devices (scanners and tablets) in a warehouse environment a plus.
• Experience with CITRIX Cloud and CITRIX Workspace a plus.
• Willing to work in a warehouse environment and abide by safety standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, warehouse personnel, inside and outside sales, IT vendors and peers.
• Must be neat, organized, energetic, and show initiative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in supporting devices and end user problems.
• Assist in planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining windows computers, servers, and cloud-based applications.
• Troubleshoot client/server, printing, cabling, and software application problems.
• Assist IT Director in network management.
• Provide detailed documentation of work and environment.
• Handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good customer service.
