Finance Analyst

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of four (4) years of professional level financial analytical experience, two (2) years which are in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical research techniques and procedures, and advanced computer skills, complex financial analyses, spread sheets and database software and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of strategic planning concepts in the health care industry.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of the health care delivery system and the issues of the health care industry.
• Knowledge of complex health care reporting requirements and current legislation and trends affecting health care providers.
• Ability to analyze complex health care utilization and financial issues/programs and reach valid cost-effective conclusions.
• Ability to analyze, direct and evaluate system programs and procedures and develop logical solutions.
• Ability to make recommendations for program and procedural modifications based on financial performance, regulatory and/or legislative changes.
• Performs tasks associated with systems processing and other updates.
• Ability to perform audits and updates as needed
• Ability to ensure system integrity and updates are performed to assist end users with information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Working with CFO on various program additions or changes.
• Provides financial leadership, direction and development of strategic initiatives and service lines to improve/enhance services.
• Administers, coordinates, supervises, and analyzes the work of assigned staff engaged in complex financial, informational and statistical analyses.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations on various financial programs and services.
• Conducts a variety of analytical studies and surveys on organization, procedures, and budget issues; reviews and analyzes current or proposed policies, procedures, systems, statistical analysis and reports, organizational structure, operational analysis, workflow and staffing, management and organizational systems and procedures, and participates in making recommendations.
• Conducts a variety of studies to determine best financial practices, and assists in the implementation of enhancements, improvements, and corrective actions.
• Responsible for handling our wrap around reports.
• Handle the progress report for HRSA
• Handle the State grant progress report
• Bank Reconciliation
• Other duties assigned as necessary

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
