Job description – Talent Acquisition Specialist

A rare and exciting opportunity to help drive the strategic and operational growth for one of the largest cars dealers in the UK.

Saxton 4×4, the UK’s largest independent used 4×4 and luxury car dealership, stocking over 1000 vehicles, based in Chelmsford, Essex, is recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to help support the continued growth of the company.

A fantastic new opportunity within an established brand where you will be responsible for finding the best talent to support all our companies growing departments.

Working with our department heads you will use your creative thinking, relationship building skills and recruitment marketing to secure the best candidates. You will be responsible for writing job descriptions and managing the on boarding process to ensure that roles are filled and secured. You will be the main point of contact for recruiters and our online portals to help drive the acquisition of the best talent.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Writing and distributing job descriptions
• Working with business heads to understand the recruitment needs in each department
• Being a point of contact for recruiters and candidates
• Promoting a positive company images to candidates and third party recruiters
• Working cross departmentally to build and boost the digital profile of the company with the in house marketing team.
• Attending interviews where necessary
• Pre-screening resumes (CV’s) to evaluate the effectiveness of candidates for the roles available
• Documenting new starts and supporting the induction process
• Developing a strong network with local, regional and national recruiters
• Day to day management of online portals such as Indeed and Glassdoor

Person Specification:

• Experience within the full recruitment circle
• A desire to support a dynamic and growing business
• A restless drive to secure the best potential on the market
• Experience with major online portals and experience working with recruiters.
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information
• IT and numeracy skills with proficiency in Microsoft tools
• It is important that the right candidate has the skills to form effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels and backgrounds within the business
• Integrity and approachability
• Influencing and negotiating skills
