Sawdust Creative Agency Hiring for Content Strategist & Copywriter Full Time

SAWDUST is seeking a Content Strategist/Copywriter to join our crew to develop content for branding and marketing projects.

As a Content Strategist, you will work with the team to develop and execute end-to-end social media content, email marketing content, management of social channels, and growth. Working to reach the shared goal of brand awareness, goals, objectives, and deliverables in our target industries of hospitality, real estate, restaurants, food, service, and so on.

As a Copywriter, you will be involved in developing and executing messaging, copy for brands, campaigns, social media, and other deliverables, ensuring consistent and cohesive storytelling across all channels such as email, website, events, social media, and digital marketing/advertising.

This person should have 2+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, social media, digital and print marketing, executing effective campaigns, and creative strategies for brands in growth mode.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skill sets: highly organized, able to collaborate and communicate at a high level, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented, a fast learner, multitasker, self-starter, and able to approach deadlines and goals with a solution-focused approach.

RESPONSIBILIES

• Develop brand or social strategies for clients.
• Speak with internal and external parties to learn about their content needs.
• Assist in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
• Manage email and social media channels daily, scheduling and ing.
• Providing thought leadership and copy writing during all phases of a project: discovery, planning and executing.
• Develop brand personas, mission statements, vision statements in collaboration with the creative lead.
• Create taglines and slogans that appear on brochures, websites and other promotional materials.
• Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines. Some examples include: press releases, campaigns, product copy, social copy, web copy, email marketing, brochures, video/photo scripts or other related marketing materials.
• Have detailed knowledge of the target audience of each project and maintain accurate brand voice.
• Create short and long form content.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or related field OR the equivalent of professional experience of 2 years+.
• Demonstrate writing and editing skills at the highest level.
• Experience writing copy for social media, digital marketing, and traditional advertisement.
• Strong communication, research, and investigation skills.
• Creative-minded, curious, resourceful, flexible, and motivated.
• Able to approach deadlines and goals with a solution-focused approach.
• Be an effective listener, who can give and receive constructive feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple clients.
• Ability to write creative and business copy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $46,080.00 per year
