About the role
We are seeking an organized and hospitality-driven Operations Coordinator to join the team at Savory!
Our office headquarters is located in midtown Manhattan, right by Bryant Park, and shares the building with our midtown commissary kitchen. The Savory Team strives to exemplify hospitality in everything we do, internally with our team and externally with clients.
Savory’s Operations Coordinator will exemplify internal hospitality: creating and supporting processes for smooth office operations and serving as a liaison of excellence between departments. This position provides ample opportunity for education and growth.
This is an hourly, in-person position, with an expected schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am – 4pm.

This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our Operations Coordinator:
Office Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the office, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Establish office calendar, highlighting special events, birthdays, and other days of note for the Savory team
• Maintain inventory and regular ordering of all supplies necessary for smooth office operations
• Coordinate with IT and Talent teams to manage technology inventory, assignments, and orders
• Organize and keep tidy all common areas: conference rooms, office kitchen, bathrooms, supply storage
• Serve as liaison between the Savory team and third-party vendors for building services, maintenance, supply distributors, etc.
• Plan and help to successfully execute team activities including events, town halls, and training sessions
• Support internal catering orders: setup, breakdown, scheduling
• Ensure that the office is clean and organized, and that safety procedures are followed
• Maintain a strong sense of internal hospitality for all team members and office visitors
• Other duties as assigned

Operations Support

• Work closely with Sr. Operations Coordinator to communicate and liaise across all departments: account management, operations, logistics, and culinary
• Schedule operations meetings and tastings, maintaining an accurate calendar at all times
• Attend meetings in the absence of Sr. Operations Coordinator, taking thorough notes and debriefing as necessary
• Ensure all event paperwork is secured and accurate, and that all parties are notified: liquor licenses, COIs, equipment rentals, and BEOs
• Place internal BEOs as directed
• Support administrative workflows on special projects as directed by Sr. Operations Coordinator
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years of experience in an office setting, a background in the hospitality industry is a plus!

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and responsive with the willingness and availability to be in-person Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
