About the role
We are seeking a charismatic and communicative Catering Attendant to join the team at Savory! Our Catering Attendants embody the Savory spirit to our client partners in the key functions of order fulfillment, presentation, and delivery. This position works across many different departments and provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to learn the ins and outs of the hospitality business!

This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our Catering Attendant:

• Successfully pack, deliver, and set up completed catering orders
• Partner with logistics, culinary, and facility management to guide daily and weekly orders
• Communicate promptly any issues with transport, order fulfillment, or client satisfaction, both on- and off-site
• Anticipate the needs of our client partners and the business; always looking for ways to streamline our processes
• Embody high-caliber hospitality: maintain a professional demeanor while confidently answering client questions, addressing their concerns, and operating with a solutions-focused mindset
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Savory’s services and menu options to provide suggestions for future events and ongoing business relationships
• Other duties as assigned to support the hospitality and culinary teams

Your experience should show us the following:

• At least two years of experience in a high-volume catering, restaurant, or hospitality entity
• Strong customer-facing and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to utilize quick thinking and conflict resolution skills to resolve guest issues in accordance with the Savory brand standards
• You are a team player with a warm personality and honest values
• Familiarity with BEO fulfillment is a plus! Willing to train the right candidate

Job requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfort with a schedule that includes early mornings
• Flexible availability including early mornings, days, evenings, and holidays, dependent on our event schedule and season
