Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for a talented and ambitious graduate in software engineering or web development to spreadhead the creation of analytical applications for one of the world’s leading real estate companies.
The ‘Insight & Data’ department require a new team member to help it keep pace with expanding requirements for bespoke software from the Savills business.
The successful applicant will be primarily using the Logi Analytics platform to design, develop and deploy applications to meet internal and external client reporting needs. As a result, the role requires a working understanding of the following concepts: Web application (Design and Development), CSS, JS and SQL.
The applicant will have an interest in new technologies, with an ability to self-teach and also to communicate their knowledge to others. They must have good communication skills, work well as a part of a team and have an appreciation of basic design & UX principles.
This role is based in our Head Office in Margaret Street, London and sits within the ‘Insight & Data’ department.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of innovative web applications within a wider development team
- Building, designing and optimising web app projects
- Collaboration with stake holders and developers in the implementation and support of new applications and existing applications
- Presenting new features and apps to stakeholders
- Produce high-quality, well documented code that is easily maintainable follows best practice guidelines (as defined by Savills)
- Be self-guided and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Working comfortably within estimated deadlines
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or other equivalent qualifications or experience
- Experience with Logi Analytics Studio (BONUS – Not pre-requisite)
- Web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Confident in discussing with other developers and non-technical staff
- Experience with Python (BONUS – Not pre-requisite)
- Experience with Leaflet (BONUS – Not pre-requisite)
