Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, you will be responsible primarily for supporting financial administration across NSW, VIC and SA including system updates and record keeping.

The role will report to the Senior Management Accountant (NSW, VIC & SA) for our Australian Services team and provides finance support to the Senior Management Accountant, Regional Managers and Team Leaders in relation to financial administrative tasks. This role works closely with the Financial Control Team and the Shared Services Finance team to ensure high levels of customer service are provided and maintained.

You will make an impact by:

• Support day-to-day accounting admin across Australian Services, including accurate processing of financial transactions, support month-end close procedures, provide input to monthly financial and management reports
• Supporting the Budget, Forecast and Outlook processes across all States
• Feed into Australian services reporting, on a monthly basis
• Carrying out accounts receivable and payable functions
• Identifying the root causes of transaction accounting inefficiencies and improving processes
• Providing high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers

• Significant experience working in a similar customer focused management accounting role

• Previous experience in training a diverse workforce in accounting processes

Position Description – Finance Officer

Skills/Abilities

• Prior NGO/NFP experience well regarded (not essential)

Qualifications/Accreditations:

• Working towards Certification in Administration / Finance.
