The Senior IT Project Manager will lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of complex, single or multiple Technology projects.

About the Role

We are seeking someone who will lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of complex, single or multiple Technology projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. seeking a purpose-driven team member with a record of accomplishment in planning, leading, overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of complex software projects in an Agile environment within scope, quality, time and cost constraints. This includes resource management, defining project objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables and success metrics that support business and technology goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Plan, schedule, track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Work with management and leads team members to develop and maintain the portfolio and roadmap
• Develop content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals working with other IT Technology Service providers
• Clearly define and obtain agreement on project success metrics, prior to kickoff

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, computer science or related field

Experience

• 10 years of progresivley responsible IT experience:
• Five years sucessfully managing IT projects, with experience managing multiple complex risky projects
• Five years of Engineering Development and IT Business Applications experience strongly preferred
• Strong experience working with Enginered Development and enterprise IT Application projects
• Strong resource managment and project success metrics skills mandatory
• Experince leading diverse teams

Certifications: Project Management (PMP)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• A blend of business, IT, Financial and communication skills, as this is a highly visible position depending on the project
• Strong knowledge of project management methodology and experience with major defined PM approaches (for example: PMI, Prince II or Agile)
• Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project) with solid track record of practical application
• Demonstrated Resource Management skills across multiple functions
• Demonstrated experience with project success metrics
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
