Sartorius Hiring for Software Robotics Expert (m|f|d) Job at Royston, East of England, England Full Time

Our Product Development group has this opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to help us with our process optimisation for robotic | automated equipment.

You will be part of an international team that is working closely with our customers on implementing Sartorius total solution for their manufacturing lines. We are producing everything that is needed in bioprocessing manufacture. This team is helping customers with the integration of equipment with software control of automated manufacturing lines.

You will be based at our site in Royston, near Cambridge or Guxhagen, Germany. You can work on hybrid basis |40% home office|.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Developing software architecture for mechatronic systems in robotic applications

• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders on implementation of software

• Developing integration strategies depending on customer needs and technological requirements

• Guiding customers through to the fully automated process

• Evaluating external partners

• Working with our partners on integration and post-integration support

• Collaborating with process experts, enterprise architects, product managers and other team members

What will convince us:

• A degree in information technology or equivalent is desirable

• Experience in working in integration of robotic equipment in manufacturing environment

• Experience of working in GMP environment is beneficial

• Previous knowledge of SCADA; knowledge of Siemens | Emerson DeltaV | ABB | controllers is beneficial

• Strong communication skills

• Highly collaborative and able to work with people internationally
