Our company, located in Rancho Santa Margarita CA, is looking for an in house accounting assistant to maintain our financial records, AR / AP management, and general financial reconciliation. Your new exciting position will have upward mobility with a future entrance into upper management. You will be working closely with our executive team to create and analyze financial reports and maintaining GAAP compliance. The key to your success within our organization will be that you hold as BS degree in accounting with an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and you offer suggestions when you see room for improvement. If you are familiar with Microsoft GP Dynamics your learning curve will be short but don’t worry if you meet the necessary qualifications you will be trained how to use it.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions
• Verify that transactions are recorded Microsoft GP
• AR and AP management
• Perform partial checks of the posting process
• Complete sales tax forms
• Assist in payroll processing
• Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Skills

• Outspoken with terrific verbal and written communication
• Ability to create an income statement and balance sheet from scratch
• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Demonstrate expert level Microsoft Excel usage
• Extreme attention to detail
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office

• BS degree in Accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
