SaraMax Apparel Group Hiring for QA COORDINATOR at New York, New York Full Time

Intimate apparel company in New York City has an exciting opportunity for an organized and enthusiastic candidate to join their team.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily communication with overseas offices and factories
• Oversee time and action calendars and production WIP charts to ensure the timely approval of components to support on time deliveries.
• Executing production sample approval process
• Check-in, review and comment on all PP and TOP samples for production, specifically all PO related information (UPC, MSRP, CPSIA, etc.) and placement
• Executing administrative tasks including creating application forms and uploading po’s
• Manage product inspection plans
• Responsible for all quality control and review fabric and garment test reports to ensure garment quality.
• Oversee issue resolution to investigate quality, safety, and compliance for production corrections and execution through delivery in collaboration with design and sales teams
• Maintain production sample organization
• Maintaining customer-specific certification/transaction sheets

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of Walmart UL/CTL processes
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must have superior organizational skills
• Technical knowledge of knit fabrics
• Technical knowledge of garment construction 
• Technical knowledge of dying and printing on knit fabrics
• Experience working within calendar, delivery, and supply chain.
