SaraMax Apparel Group Hiring for PRODUCTION MANAGER at New York City, New York Full Time

Intimate apparel company in New York City has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily communication with all vendors regarding status of samples and bulk deliveries.
• Address issues related to initial pricing, fabric development and target prices to ensure profitability.
• Oversee capacity planning by sourcing office, region, country
• Set expectations and ensure timely delivery according to development calendar.
• Make commitments to allocate production across vendors to reserve production space.
• Issue and update all purchase orders
• Communicate with design and sales team members on a daily basis
• Oversee Technical, Color, and Quality Assurance teams
• Timely communication with overseas to ensure shipment bookings are submitted on time.
• Work with suppliers/customers to develop packaging needs
• Review all ticketing, heat-seals, carton marking, packaging accessories to ensure accuracy and customs compliance
• Work directly with customers to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Knowledge of production/manufacturing processes, planning and capabilities
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple teams
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Self-motivated and self-directed with continuous desire to learn and grow
• Excellent communication, organizational skill, attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Proactive problem solver able to trouble shoot and escalate issues effectively
• Must be proficient in MS office
