Sarah Reed Children’s Center Hiring for Certified Teacher-Virtual/Part Time Job at Remote Full Time

New virtual teaching position available in expanding program! We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging certified teachers looking to promote the educational and emotional well-being of the children in our Alternative Education Program.

THE PRIMARY DUTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

• Develop and implement educational and SEL curriculum/activities implementation.
• Complete educational assessments and evaluations.
• Implements positive behavior supports based Individual Education Plans.

OTHER DUTIES OF JOB:

• Serve as a substitute teacher as necessary.
• Complete assessments to collect data for progress monitoring
• Perform other related duties as assigned and required.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in education is required.
• PA Certification: Secondary Subject, 4-8 Subject, and/or Special Education preferred, but will consider candidates with other types of certifications and experience with middle/high schools students

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday
• 25-30 hours/week schedule at 5-6 hours/day 5 days/week
• Flexible hours
• Fully remote

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate Required
• Act 33 and 34 Clearances
• CPR Certification
• SCM training
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
• FBI clearances

Job Type: Part-time
