The Data Management and Platform Infrastructure organization is looking for people to help with our next generation cloud-based platform. Our team is focused on back-end topics involving building and managing microservices at scale. Expectations

Because we work on the cutting edge, we need someone who is eager to learn, a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things to work and productive working independently or collaboratively. We’re looking for someone who can:

Develop scalable and robust backend services

Design, develop, and lead features with high quality

Solve complex problems with simple solutions

Rapidly ideate and prototype proof-of-concepts

Collaborate with teams locally and across the world

Role Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or related field

2-3 years of professional development experience

Cloud application experience (high availability, scalability, performance, etc.)

Experience with microservice architecture, back-end design principles, software development best practices

Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex software systems

Strong sense of drive, urgency, and ownership

The following qualifications are not required but would be an asset:

Experience with cloud tools such as: Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Grafana

Experience with Node.js, JavaScript is preferred (Other Backend languages such as Java, Python, C#, .NET and GoLang are great as well)
