The developer role is in the SAP Analytics Cloud Common Data Services team. We build scalable software that provides our customers with a solid data foundation for the Intelligent Enterprise. We transform the SAP HANA Database & Analytics portfolio.
As A Developer You Will:
Showcase your strong coding and debugging skills
Be accountable for releasing high quality software
Do code reviews with no compromises
Demonstrate strong knowledge in data structures and algorithms efficiency
Curiosity for new technology and seek the most efficient solution
Communicate technical topics effectively with team and stakeholders
Provide relevant transparency about own work and related topics
Exhibit high sense of urgency, ownership, efficiency, and can-do attitude
Identify and eliminate technical debt
Represent the test perspective in the evaluation of ship readiness for multiple feature areas
Is Great If You Have:
University degree in Software engineering, Computer science or a related IT discipline
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, preferably in Java
Cloud experience
Spring/Spring boot
Docker and Kubernetes or another container orchestration know how
Experience with both, UI and API test automations
Experience in designing REST APIs
Experience with front-end technology – JavaScript, HTML, CSS
CI/CD methodologies and tooling – Jenkins, GitHub, Gerrit
Scrum methodology
Experience designing code, testing new functionalities, and documenting the results of your work
Understanding of at least one relational database system
