Santerra Stonecraft Hiring for Dispatcher/Customer Service at Amherstburg, ON Full Time

Santerra Stonecraft is seeking a highly qualified Dispatcher/customer service representative.

The selected individual will be communicating directly with customers to obtain and process deliveries as well as managing a team of 10 drivers.

Qualifications:

• Proficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Sound business judgment and ability to perform insightful analysis
• Strong understanding of transportation industry and associated laws
• Experience working with customers through various means of communication and ability to manage customer relations
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as a member of a team
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills; organizational planning and time management skills
• Strong geographical knowledge of the Windsor & Essex County area

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and emails with a high quality of service
• Schedule and Dispatch employees to different job sites
• Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Attention to detail
• Using assigned systems and applications, schedule drivers for shipping requirements per booking instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately
• Comply with laws, regulations and standards, completing any required documentation as applicable
• Perform various office related tasks.
