Santerra Stonecraft Hiring for Block Machine Operator at Amherstburg, ON Full Time

Santerra Stonecraft is seeking a highly qualified block machine operator. The Machine Operator must team-oriented, organized and self directed. In a fast paced environment the candidate must be able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The candidate must be available to work between 44-60 hours per week on both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of Machine Operator in a safe manner.
• Ensure that products produced and packaged meets or exceeds Company Quality Standards.
• Complete equipment set-up procedures and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor plant equipment performing necessary running repairs as required and report to management any maintenance concerns.
• Accurately prepare all necessary production and maintenance reports on a daily basis.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Participates in the plant clean up at shifts end.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Machine Operator would be an asset.
• 2 years of experience as a labourer and forklift operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office.
