WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Why apply for this role?
An opportunity has arisen for an intern to work within SCUK’s Finance team, specifically the Securitisation team, the role will support the Securitisation Team during the period of May – September 2022.

What you’ll be doing
Assist in the preparation of documents for internal committees in relation to on-going Securitisation projects.
Prepare monthly payments to be made to investors and the calculation of accruals rates on debt instruments (SONIA rate).
Provide documentation for Credit Event Verifications, preparing all documentation and liaising with external auditors to ensure that the losses claimed on risk transfer transactions are accurate and can be verified against source systems.
Run risk model to predict expected and unexpected losses for each transactions in relation to the on-going monitoring of existing risk transfer securitisations and future SRT transactions.
Prepare templates for regulatory Capital Reporting. This includes preparing and providing inputs into monthly regulatory templates, quarterly and half yearly Corep templates and quarterly ESMA templates.
Rudimentary review of legal documents for accuracy of data related to SCUK
Evaluate trends within the auto market and benchmarking against SCUK securitisations with respect to default rates, hand back rates and VT rates of other UK issuers.

Other things you need to know
Your hours of work will be 35 hours a week across Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
You will be required to work full time in the office until you have passed probation and then 2 to 3 days a week depending on your line manager.
