We are hiring for a Healthcare Purchasing Associate to join our dynamic team. As the Healthcare Purchasing Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for our healthcare services. You’ll have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders within the organization, such as the finance and operations teams, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Position: Purchasing Associate

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full Time Monday to Friday

• Some evenings/weekends will be required if needed to support a project or deadline

Compensation: $19.23-21.64 Per Hour (Dependent on Candidate Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of goods and services for the organization
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies
• Conduct vendor research, validations, selection, and evaluation to ensure the highest quality and best value
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
• Manage purchase cards
• Review and approve purchase orders
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement function
• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, including contract negotiation and vendor management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
