SandPoint Consulting, Inc Hiring for Higher Education Consultant Job at Remote Full Time

SandPoint Consulting, Inc. is a boutique Enterprise Performance Management consulting firm focused on helping companies and universities nationwide improve their accounting and financial processes with ‘tech forward’ solutions like OneStream Software. This consulting opportunity is for someone with Accounting experience in the Higher Education space with the ability to learn OneStream and be able to work with smaller project teams and assist with multiple OneStream projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with accounting, financial, IT and other management personnel to improve their businesses
• Assist with OneStream implementation projects, assess, troubleshoot/test during the implementation cycle
• Train and advise clients in using OneStream
• All engagements require accounting background, higher education accounting background, process analysis/optimization, documentation, project management skills, with the ability to work in collaborative teams
• Potential opportunity to participate in the sales process (presentations, proposals).
• Work will be performed both remotely and occasionally on-site with clients.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting in a Higher Education work environment

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience implementing a financial reporting and budgeting system from a Higher Education perspective

• Public accounting experience with a CPA is preferred
• Understanding and demonstrated experience with working in a University’s finance or accounting department
• Understanding Higher Education budgeting and planning requirements
• Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to break complex issues into project steps and problem solve
• Strong data assimilation and organization skills
• Ability to facilitate clients, and project teams, at all levels of the organization
• Strong self-direction and team working skills
• Familiarity with OneStream, Peoplesoft, Hyperion HFM, Essbase, Axiom, SAP BPC a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $68,000.00 – $124,000 per year
