Responsibilities:
– Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials and products
– Safely load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas
– Perform routine inspections of forklifts and any maintenance or safety issues
– Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment
– Accurately complete paperwork and documentation related to inventory and shipping/receiving
– Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals

Skills:
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of forklift operations
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Experience operating a variety of forklifts, including Hi-Lo and lift trucks
– Proficiency in order picking, inventory management, and basic math skills
– Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including the use of pallet jacks

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Forklift operators must also have good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
