We are looking for a motivated, self starter with a level 3 first aid ticket to provide first aid coverage fellow workers and who wants to be an active team member by challenging themselves to learn new skills.

We are Sanders Contracting from the beautiful Nicola Valley and we are looking for a level 3 first aider to ensure the safety of our crews in our rock and gravel quarries. We are looking for someone who can accurately document load counts and document pit activity, provide first aid services and be willing to learn how operate heavy equipment in the pit

Duties include:

• Provide first aid and produce required first aid records of incidents
• Ensure that first aid equipment and supplies are cleaned, readily accessible and are fully stocked at all times.
• Operate the weigh scale and produce weigh tickets
• Compile, sort and produce daily load counts and weight tickets for admin staff
• Assist the pit supervisor in completing daily production reports
• Participate in safety meetings and provide recommendations to the pit supervisor regarding safety issues
• Ensure that pit operations comply with Company safety program

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: $26.00-$33.00 per hour
