To do this, we have built a new kind of health plan from scratch for employers and their employees. Our customers can offer rich benefits to attract and retain top talent while paying less than traditional plans. Sana uses proprietary technology to cut out waste and a novel financing structure that gives companies money back when claims are low, saving up to 20% on total costs.
Sana is looking for an IT Manager to join our small but growing team. As a successful candidate, you will be accountable for the overall implementation, management, and documentation of company IT systems and growth of ITSM principles across the organization. You are an enthusiastic, warm individual who loves to provide support to your fellow peers, can collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, and it’s knowledgeable with SaaS IT tools.

What you will do
– IT Support for remotely distributed workforce through implementing ITSM best practices
– Enhance helpdesk ticketing system, enhance reporting and develop SLA’s
– Develop and oversee IT budgets
– Manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes of employees, including computer/hardware procurement, setup, and account provisioning on Apple and Windows Devices. Implement solutions to automate onboarding and off-boarding processes
– Create accurate and clear technical documentation, develop support playbooks and process governance, design user training, and conduct operational hand-offs
– Manage our SaaS services from provisioning to off-boarding and Access Management
– Build and maintain vendor relationships, including tracking vendors, contract terms, and policies
– Provide timely resolution of IT problems for company employees
– Work closely with other cross-functional teams on relevant initiatives, problem resolution, and daily operations
– Identify areas for improvement and needs for upgrades or new systems and report to upper management
– Fully manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual assets
– Prepare accurate and timely reports to the manager on a weekly and monthly basis
About you
– You have 5+ years of experience in a senior technical role implementing 360-degree IT Service Delivery for SaaS applications
– Prior work experience in a startup and Internet/SaaS company preferred
– 5+ years of experience with management of IT Assets, Services and Cloud applications, procurement, and employee on-boarding/off-boarding workflows
– Experience working in a small company going through hyper-growth from 50 employees to 200 employees
– Strong problem solving, documentation, communication, and coordination skills
Technical Skills
– Scripting knowledge – automation, automation, automation, if you do it more than twice, automate it! You can write Bash & Python scripts
– Provide administration and support for critical IT SaaS tools including Slack, Zoom, JAMF, Jumpcloud, Google Workspace, AWS, SSO, Github, etc.
– Automating manual tasks; create/improve small tools that help make team operations more efficient. You work with Github and IT as code
– Strong knowledge of Zendesk ticketing system along with monitoring and reporting aspects
– Strong knowledge with Mac OS-based environments, Apple Business Solutions, and Apple MDM solutions
– Key understanding of networking and systems concepts
– A deep understanding of systems hardening (MAC, Linux, and Windows)
– Monitor and analyze IT security alerts/logs and information, escalating as needed to security teams
– Experience implementing IT access and IAM policies in AWS environments; you possess AWS cloud administration skills
– Basic practical knowledge of DevOps concepts
– Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
Bonus Points
– Certifications in IT fields such as ITSM, CompTIA, Cloud Essentials is a plus
– Knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, CircleCI
– JSON, Yaml, HTML
– IT management under HIPAA environments
– Experience with security products from a variety of vendors including, but not limited to, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, multi-factor/strong authentication technologies, SIEM, CASB, logging, and threat hunting
