Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Supervisor leads an effective, results driven, talent acquisition team. Oversees and mentors the performance, duties and goals of the TA team, through training and coaching. Develops TA Team to build and maintain a diverse and qualified candidate pipeline, provides consultative hiring manager support, and meets SYHealth staffing plan. Responsible for direct recruitment efforts for assigned positions, as needed.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Leads and supervises all aspects of full life cycle recruiting including: sourcing candidates, conducting phone interviews, assessing external/internal candidates against job profiles, applying behavior-based/competency-based interviewing techniques, to assess candidate knowledge and alignment to SYHealth’s values.
• Participates in the recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators.
• Develops the TA team in providing expert consultative recruitment services to SYHealth hiring managers.
• Works closely with the TA Manager to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment; and develop personal growth opportunities for staff.
• Works closely with TA Manager to ensure staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; managing performance through coaching, counseling, and participating in disciplining employees;
• Participates in the development, coordination, and enforcement of systems, policies, procedures, and productivity and quality standards and ensuring employees have necessary resources to succeed.
• Partners with hiring managers and TA Partners to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes to attract qualified candidates to the organization.
• Ensures proactive, detail-oriented approach to data management in the applicant tracking system.​
• Develops and analyzes reports and makes recommendations based on recruitment metrics such as cost per hire, diversity information and days to fill position.
• Ensures job specifications, essential functions and desired qualifications are clear and concisely identified in job descriptions by developing the TA Partner’s skills in creating and reviewing job descriptions.
• Ensures a commitment to identify and attract diverse candidates. Develops the TA team to have impactful conversations with hiring managers in achieving a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Provides insight and guidance to hiring managers and TA Partners on SYHealth’s HR policies and procedures related to the interviewing, candidate assessment, the selection process and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
• Supervises the full life cycle recruiting process for management, senior level and licensed professionals (physicians, dentists, psychologists etc) exempt positions.
• Works with TA Partners and hiring managers to develop skill level in preparing offers to candidates and negotiates various aspects of offer with candidates.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• May perform follow-up as appropriate including reference and background checks, health clearance, new hire paperwork, and orientation and other onboarding activities.
• May be responsible for data entry and maintenance of applicant tracking system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education Required (Minimum level of education):

BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Management or other relevant degree.

Certifications/Licenses Preferred:

PHR/SPHR/SPHR-CA

Experience Required (Minimum level of experience):

• 2 years of Lead or Supervisory experience
• 4 years in-house recruiting experience, exempt and non-exempt positions in multiple functional disciplines
• Excellent sourcing, communication, negotiating and interviewing skills required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)

Verbal and Written Skills Required to perform the Job:

• Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
• Must be knowledgeable of State and Federal employment and wage and hour laws, TA Sourcing tools and ATS Software

Equipment Used:

• Personal Computer, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and type at least 40 wpm.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting.
• May be required to work evenings and/or weekends and attend community events outside of regular working hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $86,508.00 – $95,000.00 per year
