The Opportunity

As a Resourcing Assistant you will be the first point of contact for candidates; writing of adverts, advertising roles on job boards, shortlisting, conducting telephone interviews, arranging assessment days and providing feedback to candidates.

• Supporting with high volume weekly recruitment
• Sourcing suitable candidates through various tools including job board and Samworth Brothers website
• To support local recruitment events and initiatives as appropriate
• Drafting of all adverts to ensure maximum coverage and candidate response
• Ensuring governance for role sign off and offers are adhered to

The Right Person

You will be someone who enjoys working at pace and talking to candidates. You will like working with a structured plan and will take ownership and initiative. As part of a wider team you will enjoy collaboration and will be flexible to support your colleagues. We are also looking for:

• Confidence and professionalism on the telephone
• Previous experience managing volume recruitment (either in-house or agency) would be an advantage but full training can be provided
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with experience of making outbound calls
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
