Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join us here at Samsung Research UK on a 6 month contract basis.
The main purpose of the role is to successfully manage all temporary, contract and permanent recruitment within Samsung Electronics Research Institute. Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment including resource planning, talent attraction, channel management, candidate introduction and tracking through to salary negotiation and offer process.
We are looking for an individual who has worked within a Technology Company as a Recruiter or as part of their HR team, who understands the high demands of a technology company.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage and execute recruitment strategy for all temporary, contractor and permanent staff
Work closely with hiring managers and project leads to fully understand recruitment requirements
Draft and amend job descriptions
Analyse and select appropriate recruitment channels (direct, indirect, agency or a combination of each)
Manage existing agencies on PSL including reviewing performance, source new recruitment business partners (3rd party agencies) when required; negotiate and update terms & conditions for each
Create and post online advertising material to promote visibility of SRUK via technology websites, recruitment blogs and professional networking sites
Create and post online vacancies via Facebook and SRUK website
Source candidates directly through employee referrals, web databases and headhunting (direct approach) via on and off-line social networking
Candidate management, tracking and liaison
Interview scheduling and diary management
CV screening, applicant testing and interviewing
Salary negotiation and offer process
Recruitment policy updates
Reporting on recruitment metrics
Managing offer process including business case, market comparison data and raising offer in MySingle
Skills and Qualifications
Significant in-house recruitment experience, preferably with a large multinational organisation, recruiting for highly specialist technical roles
Experience in IT / high-tech industries (ideally mobile telecoms, IT, Software or related industry)
Must have strong administrative and organisational skills
Good analytical and creative thinking skills, a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems and to communicate ideas well
A very high level of presentation, communication and planning skills
Ability to work in a highly demanding team environment with the flexibility to respond as required to request and deadlines
Ability to learn and implement Samsung Electronics corporate business philosophies
Contract Type: 6 Month Contract
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
