SAMS Global provides innovative solutions to support study abroad agents, education counsellors and universities in managing prospective students, by utilising systems and strategies to engage and convert leads through every step of the journey.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to manage and develop the team through effective delivery of a predominantly B2B model. The role holder will have responsibility for the UK-based education counselling team, and application services team in Bangladesh, driving them to success, through people management and collaborations.

The role holder will be responsible for the following key areas:

Business Strategy

• Developing new and existing university relationships, and promoting our university partners throughout the SAMS network.

• Develop appropriate strategies for promoting priority and non-priority university partners, using a range of sales and marketing channels.

Business Development

• Develop the team to promote our services with new and existing agency relationships.

• Working with the creative teams to develop and promote marketing content across various channels to support business development activities.

Operational Management

• Working with management and internal to improve the entire operation for admission, conversion and visa compliance runs effectively

• Hiring and training staff, setting objectives and expectations, and working with the team to achieve the targets for both sales and application processing.

• Utilising the CRM system and other reporting tools to identify trends and recommend areas for improvement.

ABOUT YOU

You will be:

• Experienced within a leadership or team management role

• A creative, motivated and results driven individual, with the ability to communicate confidently using your knowledge of the student recruitment sector.

• Able to use your initiative to develop business minded solutions and goals, promoting our services through our global network.

• Comfortable identifying improved ways of working and using your management style to motivate the team in implementation of new processes.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience within leadership or team management role

• Considerable experience in the university admissions or study abroad sector

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Results-driven

• Team player

• Strong people management skills

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent).

FURTHER DETAILS

Basic salary: £26,000-£33,000 depending on experience, plus commission.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

It is intended that this will be a predominantly office based role. Our office is well-served by public transport, being located on Glossop Road, close to Sheffield City Centre and the University of Sheffield.
