Samiti Technology Hiring for Education Project Manager at Remote Full Time

This position will support K-12 Social Studies programs for business planning. 100% remote. Position could be extended until end of November but not guaranteed.

Located in our Columbus office within our K-12 School Group for a high-energy Project Manager with a track record of leading Product Development projects in partnership with Product Management and other internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational skills, close attention to detail, a passion for collaboration, and the ability to navigate stakeholder relationships objectively.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Collaborating with Product Managers to document scope, goals, and objectives that align to market expectations and needs.
• Establishing comprehensive product delivery plans, which includes business case development, milestone schedule, project and product scope, integrated schedules with dependencies mapped, budget management, forecasting, and quality management plans.
• Proactive planning of high-impact risks, problem-solving when issues arise, conflict resolution, and implementing change management processes in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Creating work breakdown structures as needed, mapping dependencies, gathering time estimates, and estimating resources as needed to develop a realistic plan for successful project execution.
• Communicating at all levels of the organization with transparency, data, and facts. Responsible for reporting status on assigned projects, project financial reporting, and resource allocation reporting.
• Works with oversight and alongside MH Program Manager throughout project
• Will manage the communication and delivery of the project throughout the project phases and domains: project conception and initiation, project definition and planning, project launch or execution, project performance and control, and project close, all in close partnership with the MH Program Manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with education clients or in the educational technology industry a plus
• Certification or expertise in Project Management framework and methodologies, including Hybrid Agile and Waterfall
• Analytical and strategic mindset
• Highly skilled at diplomacy and conflict resolution
• Experience using portfolio project management (PPM) tools such as SmartSheet, SharePoint / OneDrive, MS Project
