BASIC FUNCTION:
The Assistant Director of Advancement Services is responsible for
the data integrity of the Advancement CRM and, along with the
Director of Advancement Services, will establish policies,
procedures and long-term strategy, guided by industry best
practices for Advancement data management. Ability to initiate,
lead and manage projects and take ownership of the training of new
Advancement personnel. In addition, this role will provide data
support to achieve the fundraising goals of University
Advancement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with Advancement Services team to maintain essential
daily operations and workflow. Perform other duties as required by
the Director of Advancement Services.
LICENSES, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
Valid driver’s license required.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
The incumbent is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental
conditions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of five years’
experience in Advancement data management or related work.
Experience with Advancement CRMs, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including thorough
knowledge of Excel. Demonstrated knowledge of database
methodologies. Detail oriented self-starter with a strong work
ethic. Proactive program solver; able to uncover issues and provide
solutions for resolution. Ability to initiate, lead and manage
projects, and to multi-task and prioritize requests, delivering
results on time. Excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor
information. Work effectively as a team member or independently as
appropriate. Ability to collaborate with system users and
University staff. Hybrid schedule eligible.
