SALMON Health and Retirement Hiring for Regional Director of Clinical Operations Full Time

SALMON Health and Retirement is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Regional Director of Clinical Operations to assist in maximizing the resources of the facilities and the organization to deliver those services in a manner that is efficient and meets the quality and financial goals of the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Meet monthly with each Director of Nurses to assess needs for departmental systems, plan implementation, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Assist in the orientation of Director of Nurses as needed.
• Participate in the development of medical and clinical policy and procedures and forms management.
• Work with other Department Heads as needed to assess compliance with State and Federal requirements and to assist in implementing and evaluating systems for the delivery of services.
• Develop and oversee a Corporate Compliance Program and function as the Corporate Compliance Officer.
• Inservice and train management and staff in Corporate Compliance.
• Assist in each facility’s CQI process and coordinate company-wide CQI programs.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current Massachusetts RN License.
• At least five years’ experience in health care management.
• Experience in Quality/Performance Improvement Process
• Knowledge of requirement for Medicare and Medicaid participation, License requirements, OBRA, OSHA, and JCAHO.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with other health care providers in a variety of settings.
• Ability to participate effectively as a team member.
• Computer literacy.
