Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Hiring for Medical Education Administrator Job at Salisbury, England Full Time

To work as a member of the Education Department reporting to the Medical Education Manager. You will be supporting quality assured education and providing PA support to the, Associate Clinical Sub Dean and GPTVS Programme Director, and the Physician Associate Lead. You will also work collaboratively with the Foundation programme coordinator/ PA to the Director of Medical Education (DME) and Foundation Programme Director, ensuring continuity of the service.

• To take overall responsibility for planning the complex placement arrangements for Southampton Medical Students
• Delegation of administrative tasks to junior staff whilst providing support and supervision.
• Provide PA support to the Associate Clinical Sub Dean with any administrative tasks as necessary.
• Offer pastoral and supervisory support to medical students and be the first point of contact for queries and concerns.
• Attend and contribute to Medical School meetings
• Arrange visits by Southampton Medical Schools as required.
• Key point of contact for GPVTS students and liaise/escalate concerns onwards
• Liaise with Mid-Wessex GP Education regarding placements for GPVTS trainees.
• Updating of rotations ensuring trainees and placement areas are kept informed at all times.
• Attendance at GP education patch meetings as necessary.
• Booking rooms for GP training events, delegating any routine administrative tasks to junior staff.
• To take overall responsibility for planning rotas for Physician Associates around the current Southampton Medical Students.
• Liaise with Bournemouth University regarding placements for Physician Associates.
• Updating of rotations ensuring trainees and placement areas are kept informed at all times.
• Booking rooms for PA training events organising induction days and training.
