Under the direction of the Senior Quality Manager, the Training Specialist is responsible for create, plan, and run training programs for businesses. Also, to assess the skills of new and current employees.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers or instructors.
• Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials.
• Review training materials from multiple sources and choose appropriate materials.
• Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques.
• Assist in evaluating training programs.
• Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment.
• Evaluate employees’ skills and performance.
• Identify areas in employees’ skills that require improvement.
• Organize training sessions specific to various roles in the company.
• Ensure that new staff members receive appropriate introductory training.
• Conduct training courses for varying size groups of people.
• Maintain appropriate training records and LMS proficiency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of a College Degree in Business, Organizational Design, HR, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in training management.
• Experience managing an LMS (Learning Management System).
• Excellent communication skills.
• IPC-610 Certified (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of training experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience creating training materials.
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
